NSAA Announces Keynote Speakers

The National Ski Areas Association (NSAA) has announced the keynote speakers for its 2012 National Convention and Tradeshow. The event is to take place May 6-9, 2o12 at the Grand Hyatt San Antonio in San Antonio, Texas. Speakers include Peter Greenberg, Shawn Achor, Rebecca Ryan and Tom Tidwell.

LAKEWOOD, Colo. – Peter Greenberg is Travel Editor for CBS News, appearing on The Early Show, CBS Evening News with Scott Pelley, and CBS Sunday Morning. An Emmy Award-winning investigative reporter and producer, Peter is one of America's most recognized and respected front-line travel news journalists and Travel Weekly named him one of the most influential people in the travel industry.

Shawn Achor, author of The Happiness Advantage, spent more than a decade at Harvard University where he won numerous distinguished teaching awards for his work. In 2007, Shawn founded Good Think Inc., and his research on happiness and human potential has received attention from the Harvard Business Review, New York Times, Forbes, CNN, and NPR.

Rebecca Ryan's firm, Next Generation Consulting, helps clients design strategies to retain their young, future leaders; they have helped some of America's best workplaces achieve rankings in the Fortune 100 Best Places to Work. As part of her presentation, "Unite & Ignite: Leading a Multi-Generational Team," attendees will gain insight into managing all generations effectively including five shortcuts to being a more effective multi-generational leader.

Thomas L. Tidwell has spent 33 years with the U.S. Forest Service serving in a variety of positions at all levels of the agency. Under his leadership, the Forest Service is focusing on restoring healthy, resilient forest and grassland ecosystems and has charted a national roadmap for addressing climate change through adaptation and mitigation.
