What are the three biggest trends you see shaping the market and what you are doing to meet them?

On the eco friendly side bringing more pop and life into the line. Offering some affordable eco friendly options to the snow sports industry with all the riding features.

What are the biggest changes in the outerwear market you’re seeing for this winter on the business front?

End users are educated and super aware of the price / value relationship.  We have to be on target not only with pricing but making sure we are offering the right features and benefits at the right price.   Our Retail customers are still watching inventories closely and working hard at keeping core product in stock while giving trend colors and new innovation a place in their stores.

What fabrics, colors, and technologies are you focusing on for next season?

The S.Cafe fabric is taking recycled coffee grounds that are transformed into textile fibers that is incredibly fast drying, offers UVA and UVB protection and has a high degree of odor control. This is offered in the Gabriel Jacket, Gabe Pant and the women’s Georgia Jacket. All other fabrics and prints that are offered are made with 20% recycled poly fabrics. Colors are still earth tones but using some brighter pop earth tones like Gold Rush, Teal Blue and Bright Blue that work well merchandise together.

What are pricepoints doing?

In this business environment all vendors would like nothing more than to keep pricing flat to last year, but we all know that is a struggle based on what is happening with labor and materials in the countries where we are producing goods.  No doubt, we will see higher MSRPs on product with comparable features and benefits versus last year.
