Ride Snowboards Kicks Off The Season By Racking Up Awards

Ride’s product has been featured in a number of magazines, including TWSNOWboarding, as certified good gear.

Ride is celebrating an early good start to the 2012-13 season after being recognized by several industry peers for a range of products from its 2013 collection. Ride products recognized for their excellence include the Crush all-mountain men’s snowboard, the Machete GT board,  the Maestro bindings and, on the boot front, the Insano Focus Boas.

"Receiving awards from the industry's major media outlets is an achievement we're proud of at Ride and it ignites anticipation for the upcoming season, " said Casey Raymer, Ride Snowboards global marketing manager. In Transworld Snowboarding's Buyer's Guide, the Ride Crush took home a "Good Wood" award for best all-mountain men's snowboard under $449. Featuring Ride's Slimewalls® and Membrain® technologies – among others – the rockered, buttery, twin-shaped Crush is the ideal stick for slashing groomers or sessioning the park and pipe. One Transworld tester touted the Crush as a, "Good board at fast speeds and in chunder, but also handles well jibbing in the park!"

The Ride Machete GT board and Maestro bindings grabbed a couple of Platinum Pick awards for "Excellence in Design" in Snowboard magazine's Buyer's Guide. The hybrid, all-mountain freestyle Machete GT overflows with serious technology to deliver a responsive, stable, and playful feel. The Machete GT also appeared in the Oct. issue of Transworld Snowboarding as "Board of the Month." The versatile, all-aluminum Maestro's feature new SlimeBack EC technology which offers fluid support and a smoother ride.

On the boot side, Ride's Insano Focus Boa picked up a "Golden Seal of Approval" award in the Oct. issue of Snowboarder magazine. As the editors put it, "When it comes to convenience, it doesn't get any better than the Insano."
