SnowSports Industries America (SIA) announced March 6 the recent relaunch of its consumer-driven website, snowlink.com. Redeveloped to better educate and inform visitors, the site features content specific to ski, snowboard, snowshoe and cross country, with tips on “Planning Your Trip,” “What to Wear,” “The Right Gear” and “Improving Your Skill.”
Already the site has generated more than 50 original content articles and features a live, up-to-the-minute news feed announcing resort events, as well as retail shops and manufacturer news and links to many helpful industry organizations and Web sites, according to a press release issued by SIA.
“In an effort to support SIA’s mantra Your Intelligent Partner.365, Snowlink.com was relaunched this winter season with a renewed focus to help increase awareness of snow sports and its products as well as drive traffic into the specialty retail store,” said SIA’s Alicia Allen. “The site will continue to grow in size and depth of information over the next year in hopes of creating the ultimate snow sports experience online for the end user.”
