(Stamford, Connecticut) July 1st, 2013– SIGG Switzerland, the renowned Swiss manufacturer of premium reusable drinking bottles, collaborated with Talenthouse and Tony Hawk to launch a global design initiative benefiting the Tony Hawk Foundation. Artists, design lovers and Tony Hawk fans everywhere were called on to envision their own original artwork inspired by skateboarding legend Tony Hawk. Over a span of twelve weeks nearly 400 awesome designs were submitted from numerous countries. The SIGG team, along with Tony Hawk enjoyed evaluating every submission to determine which designs would be selected as winners and subsequently be produced in the next official SIGG collection.
These four winners will receive twenty-four units of their own design, a skateboard signed by Tony Hawk, a $1,000 cash prize and an all expense paid trip to Beverly Hills, CA where they will attend the 10th annual Stand Up For Skateparks event on October 5th, 2013. These designs will be included as part of the 2013 product offering from SIGG Switzerland and will be available for purchase worldwide. The People’s Choice design will receive a $500 cash prize and an autographed skateboard by Tony Hawk.
