Indoor skimboarding park owner, Christopher Dale Northam, was shot and killed inside his business, Skim X, in what Roseville police say is a homicide, Monday.
According to The Place Herald, police responded to reports of an argument and multiple shots fired inside the business shortly after 3 p.m.
Skim X was scheduled to open sometime in June.
No arrests have been made, nor have police released the name of the suspect or suspects.
According to the Skim X website, Northam was an action sports enthusiast who created the concept of “Extreme Skim,” with his son, Chris Jr., using a specially designed board to hydroplane on a ramp and execute tricks similar to those performed by extreme skiers and snowboarders.
