Sno-Kona Pond Skim Competition at Mt. Hood Meadows April 26

mt-hood-meadows-twsnow.jpgOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE – MT. HOOD, OR  — Mt. Hood Meadows will hold its second annual Sno-Kona Pond Skim competition Saturday April 26, presented by Kona Brewing and All About Hawaii Travel.

Intrepid "skimmers" in search of glory, bragging rights and possibly a trip to Hawaii will attempt to "skim" across the 80 foot pond wearing skis or snowboard. First place wins a trip for two to Hawaii, including air fare and lodging. The contest is limited to 200 skimmers who can preregister online for just $25 – details at Competitors must be 21 or older to participate. There's no charge to watch the event, which will be presented right in the base area.
