Split Announces New Marketing Director

split-logo.pngOFFICIAL PRESS RELEASE – IRVINE, CA – May 23, 2008 – Split is proud to announce the hiring of Julie Shumaker as Marketing Director.  With over twelve years of extensive marketing and brand building experience, Shumaker will play an integral role in leading the direction of the marketing team. She will work to provide the team with a creative platform in order to set Split apart in the eyes of the consumer and retail environment.

Shumaker comes to Split from global action sports brand etnies Girl where she served as Brand Marketing Manager. Prior to etnies Girl, Shumaker spent nine years as Marketing Director for specialty retail centers, The LAB and The CAMP in Costa Mesa, California.
