Transworld Endless Skater Game Surpasses 1.5 Million iOS Downloads
Transworld Skateboarding Hosts Release Party, Unveils Redesigned Skatepark
This past Friday, July 18th, Transworld Skateboarding opened the doors to its newly designed skatepark to celebrate the launch of it’s new mobile video game, Transworld Endless Skater. In attendance were executives from SuperVillian Studios, the game’s developer, as well its featured skaters Danny Way, Christian Hosoi, Sean Malto, and Ryan Decenzo.
According to a review by Paul Acevedo at Androidcentral.com, “…new games need something to set them apart from the Temple Runs and Jetpack Joyrides that have come before them. SuperVillain Studios has found a way to do just that with its new release: TransWorld Endless Skater for Android and iOS.” Acevedo cites the partnership with Transworld Skateboarding and inclusion of real world skaters as a key competitive advantage.
Transworld Endless Skater, which can be downloaded for free, launched on July 10th in the Apple app store, Google Play store, and Amazon app store. In that short time, it’s racked up some impressive stats:
Over 1.5 million downloads on iOS
Reached the #1 Sports Game ranking in 55 Countries (Top 5 in 140 Countries)
Reached the #1 Arcade Game ranking in 9 Countries (Top 5 in 79 Countries)
Reached the Top-5 Overall Games in 30 Countries
