NYC-based protective gear company Triple Eight has named Marco Tarozzi to be its new VP of business & brand development. Tarozzi joins Triple Eight from Madison Square Garden where he was VP of business development and action sports.

Port Washington, NY – October 9th, 2012 – Behind every great brand is a collection of extremely talented, creative, and dedicated people, constantly striving to put the best product possible at your fingertips. So it is our extreme pleasure to welcome our newest addition, Marc Tarozzi, to the collection of talent that makes up Triple
Eight. Marc comes to us from Madison Square Garden, where he was the VP of Business Development & Action Sports. During his time with MSG, Marc led efforts to develop events and programming including the Air In the Square Skateboard and BMX MegaRamp event which took place in Times Square during 2011. In addition, Marc was responsible for leading development projects including the renovation of Madison Square Garden & the restoration of the Beacon Theatre. Prior to MSG, Marc worked at Walt Disney World as an Associate Brand Manager. He received his MBA from NYU Stern School of Business and BA from Brown University.
When leaving MSG Marc was quoted saying he’d be “taking his talents to South Beach Triple Eight.” “I couldn’t be more excited to join the Triple Eight team,” said Tarozzi, “With Triple Eight already a leading action sports protective gear brand, I look forward to having the opportunity to grow the brand and expand the business into new segments within the action sports realm.”
Marc will no doubt be able to leverage his passion for action sports with his over 10 years of industry related experience as he works to push the growth of the brand through new market segments.
