TW SNOW Team Shoot Out Winners

TransWorld SNOWboarding just announced that Rome Snowboards is the winner of the first-ever Team Shoot Out. The challenge gave four teams- Burton, DC, Forum and Rome – a chance to compete simultaneously at four resorts across the west to produce the best terrain park shoot with photos and video, according to the official Team Shoot Out Web site.

Check out photos from the awards ceremony below. The exclusive Transworld Team Shoot Out video is also available at iTunes.

Here’s the official press release:

“The smoke has cleared from the first Team Shoot Out and TransWorld SNOWboarding magazine is proud to announce that Rome Snowboards is the winner!

‘This is a big honor,’ says Rome pro Bjorn Leines. ‘We busted ourselves that whole week, so it feels really good to come through with the win!’

Congratulations to all the Rome riders—Eiki Helgason, Bjorn Leines, Marie-France Roy, Will Lavigne, and LNP—for charging hard and taking away the win. And congratulations to Bear Mountain Resort, which hosted the Rome team, building an army of A-grade features including a chain-link fence "wallride," dumpsters dives, and sculpted jumps. TransWorld senior photographer Scott Serfas' official photos submission of gritty black and white images combined with Rome's hard-hitting video, shot and edited by John Cavan and Vincent Urban, put the Rome team over the top for the win.
