Stevens Pass, officially open as of Tuesday, November 20th, is the first resort to open in Washington for the 2012/13 season, marking one of the earliest openings in recent years and the first time Stevens Pass has been the first Washington resort to open in recent history.

The resort opened with occasional snow showers and over two feet of fresh snow to accommodate more than 650 eager skiers and riders.

“We are excited to be the first resort to open in Washington state and are looking forward to a great Thanksgiving holiday weekend here on the slopes at Stevens Pass,” said General Manager Bill Bourton.

Beginning today, Wednesday, November 21st, operating hours will be 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and tickets will be just $39 for all guests through the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.
