The Sixth Annual World Snowboard Day is set to get underway on Sunday, Dec. 18, 2011.
Despite the lack of snow in some parts of the world, There will be 112 events in 31 countries throughout North America, Europe, Asia, and South Africa.
The majority of events will provide free lessons to any newcomers, as well as competitions and demos, and maybe a video premier or two.

The countdown has begun! In less than one month thousands of snowboarders will get together across the world's summits for the 6th edition of World Snowboard Day.
