As predicted by Retail Metrics LLC—which said last week that the average teen retailer is expected to report a -3.0% comp for March—Zumiez Inc. reported its same-store sales after the market closed on April 9, and guess what? “The company’s comparable store sales decreased 3.0% for the five-week period, versus a comparable store sales increase of 17.0% in the year ago period,” according to the press release.
Net sales for the company increased 11.3% to 31.5 Million.
Both Pacific Sunwear and Abercrombie & Fitch are scheduled to report March same-store sales before the market opens April 10.
We’ll report on PacSun, but not A&F….because Abercrombie is lame.
