MAMMOTH LAKES, CA – Alphanumeric, Mammoth Mountain, K2SKIS, Spoon, ADD Marketing, Northwave, Drake, Bakoda, Scour.net, Altoid and iFUSE gathered for an opening night of the Gravity Games to raise funds and awareness for the Snowrider Project. The Snowrider Project is a new program by the Surfrider Foundation to educate snow enthusiasts on the precious relationship between snow, land and surf.
Team riders and industry leaders such as Peter Line, Tara Dakides, Tina Dixon, Barrett Christy, Travis Parker, Shaun Palmer, Keith Wilson, Michelle Taggart, Gabe Taylor, Tom Gilles, the crew from Mack Dawg Productions, Chad DiNenna of Nixon, Sal & the boys from Alphanumeric, Rich Van Every and many more were in attendance to support the Surfrider Foundation. Iron Mike from Alphanumeric was spinning tunes for the packed crowd who each paid $5 donation at the door for the cause.
Almost everyone in attendance was a winner with raffle prizes from Mammoth Mountain, Scour.net, Altoid, Epic Records, JNCO, Spin, Etnies, Squint Records, 32, 55 Diesel and Cold As Ice. The evening ended with a goodie bag for everyone in attendance.
“I was stoked to find out Surfrider Foundation was having a benefit for the Snowrider Project up here in Mammoth,” said the weekends quarterpipe winner and Mammoth local, Tara Dakides. “The party was bumping – I know I danced all night!”
