CARLSBAD, CA — Dragon Optical joins forces with Audio/Video giant JVC in a massive consumer promotion for the nationÕs spring-breakers. This 3-day, open to the public, event showcased all the latest audio and video equipment and Dragon products targeting people 18 – 24 years of age.
The 3-day show took place in Daytona Beach, Florida during Spring Break. Close to 40,000 people attended the expo to see the latest in consumer-based electronics. Dragon supported the show by showcasing their 2002 eyewear line in conjunction with JVC. The expo was followed up by a free concert on the beach performed by Tantric.
Masterminded by Chad Volgelsong, JVC National Product and marketing Manager, the promotion is designed to hit the youth consumer in mass concentration. The event takes place right in the middle of Spring Break where the visitors reach in to the hundreds of thousands.
