Invermere, BC – Panorama Mountain Village is set to open right on schedule on Friday, December 8, 2000. Consistent snowfall over the preceding weeks, combined with excellent snowmaking capabilities, has created a good base for starting the season.

This season kicks off with the Ski Pro Workshop running December 9 – 11. The workshop brings in 15 top-notch, CSIA certified, level IV instructors to coach and train enthusiastic ski instructors from all over Canada.

New this season, skiers and snowboarders will want to check out Taynton Bowl in the “Outback” region on Panorama Mountain’s backside. Featuring over 700 acres of former heli-skiing terrain, Taynton Bowl is the largest single terrain expansion in Panorama’s history.
