Bob McKnight,Quiksilver chief executive officer, announced the appointment of BillBussiere to executive vice president of Wintersports, Mervin Manufacturing,Hawk Clothing and Wetsuits. “Bill is a vital part of our management team andthe company is fortunate to have his experience and counsel,” says McKnight.In his expanded role, Bussiere will oversee all general management for eachof the brands.
Bussiere joined Quiksilver in 1998 as senior vice president of QuiksilverWintersports and Mervin Manufacturing. In 2000, Bussiere took on Wetsuitsand the newly launched Hawk Clothing brand. “I look forward to continuingthe process of taking these businesses to new levels, and welcome thechallenges that lie ahead,” said Bussiere.
