New Arctic Treehouse Hotel in Finland emulates the North Pole

If the Northern Lights and Santa Claus are your thing, then your dream hotel is going to be opening this November.

Rovaniemi, Finland has long been considered the “official” hometown of Santa Claus, and they have plenty of Santa-centric attractions like theme park SantaPark. On November 19 they’ll be getting a modern, luxury hotel built right within nature.

Dubbed the Arctic Treehouse Hotel, it looks just as cool as it sounds. There will be 37 high-end suites within SantaPark that were designed by the Helsiniki architecture firm Studio Puisto.

The real delight in this project are five of those suites that are Arctic Glass Houses, boasting floor-to-ceiling panoramic windows for Finnish forest and Northern Lights viewing. This is definitely one stop to make if ever in Finland.
