Photographer Cam McLeod spends a lot of his time working in the mountains near his Ogden, Utah, home. Ogden sits in the shadows of the Wasatch Mountain Range, about an hour north of Salt Lake City. It's a town filled with diehard skiers, including freestyle pros like Heidi Webb and Mike Stricklin. When conditions permit, McLeod's typical day includes throwing a few riders in his Toyota 4Runner and heading up the hill for a photo session. And while they have a number of high quality resorts within a 20-minute striking distance, it's tough to beat the variety, scenery, and small-town vibe of Powder Mountain.
