Founded in 2008 by Dion Agius, Ry Craike and Clay Marzo, SUPERbrand began with a goal to join world-class surfboard shapers with innovative designs and aesthetics. In 2010, the company launched its first apparel collection under the same assumption: You shouldn’t have to choose between looking good and feeling good.
By applying the same graphics to their apparel that they put on their surfboards, SUPERbrand has created a unique, singularly-focused brand.
Plus, if you’re out at dusk and it’s getting cold, you can toss on a chambray-lined Affairs jacket or one of the brand’s fleece zip-ups, and actually look good while keeping warm.
And the best part of the brand is that unlike other progressive apparel lines, SUPERbrand’s collection isn’t trying to break your bank.
T-shirts retail at about $30 each, and fleeces and jackets between $50 and $88. Of course it will cost you a pretty penny more to get custom shaped board, but it’s worth it.
