As part of the 2013 450cc motocross shootout, the Dirt Rider magazine crew is breaking down the good, the bad, and the sometimes ugly points of each bike and offering a no-nonsense assessment of each machine. In this video, we shake down the 2013 KTM 450 SX-F. Based off of the KTM 450 SX-F factory edition that Ryan Dungey rode to the top step of the podium in 2012, the new 2013 450 SX-F is hugely different from where it was a year ago. Fuel injected and much lighter, this orange steed is more competitive than ever before and earned positive reviews from the Dirt Rider testing crew. Here, Dirt Rider editor Chris Denison chats with associate editor Kris Keefer and test rider Ricky Yorks about the performance of the KTM.
