Take a scenic flight over King Island of Tasmania in this drone video

King Island is an island that’s part of Tasmania’s New Year Group of islands, and it offers some stunning landscapes. Not very large (it’s only 424 square miles), it’s also not heavily populated — the 2011 census saw only 1,566 people living on the island.

Photographer Stu Gibson is from Tasmania and has been a reputable surf photographer for quite a while now. Recently, he’s gotten into aerial photography with drones and has been utilizing some of the rugged areas around him to put together some exquisite drone videos.

Gibson’s latest is another solid addition, and a watch that makes us want to travel to King Island and explore it for ourselves.
