Hot-air balloon crash lands on Netherlands lake

Two people were injured Tuesday evening when a hot-air balloon crashed into a lake near Amsterdam. Raw, silent footage shows the balloon touching down on the water and billowing across a busy road in the town of Almere. According to reports, two people on board sustained injuries as they tried getting out of the basket as it was still moving. Most reports mention that 10 people were on board at the time of the crash.

The Telegraph reports that the Coast Guard sent two lifeboats to Almere, but that the passengers were able to escape on their own.

The incident is under investigation.
