Thrilling video gives new meaning to the term ‘rope swing’

Most of us probably have happy childhood memories of playing with rope swings on rivers and lakes. Now filmmaker Patrick Romero has taken that concept to a whole new level with rope swings attached to giant bridges. In the video below, he and his crew can be seen jumping and then swinging from the 486-foot Perrine Bridge in Twin Falls, Idaho, and the 250-foot Dirty Devil River Bridge in Utah. Regarding the Dirty Devil bridge, one of the crew members is filmed jumping from the bridge while a motorhome and Jeep drive by–can you imagine what you would think if you were one of the drivers?
