Wind lifts little girl off her feet and takes her for a ride; video

Like she does everyday after getting home from school, 4-year-old Madison ran up the porch steps and opened the front door, left unlocked by her father who arrived moments before.

But a funny thing happened before she entered the house Wednesday: A strong gust of wind sent her airborne as she clung to the door for dear life:

"I was unloading everything when I heard, 'Mommy!'" Brittany Gardner told Jukin Media. "I look over to see her pinned against the door and the house with one arm on the handle, and the other holding on to my phone."

Madison had been playing a game on the phone.

Brittany, who lives in Lyndhurst, Ohio, immediately ran to her daughter and, as quoted by News 5 Cleveland, "I had to unlatch her from the handle and took her inside."

"After the little scare it gave her, we watched the security cameras hoping we got it in film!" Brittany told Jukin Media. "Luckily, we did! The wind took hold of the door and took Madison with it! She is 100 percent fine and laughing along with it."

Brittany downloaded the 10-second video and posted it on Facebook accompanied by Frank Sinatra singing "Come Fly with Me."

The video has been viewed more than 828,000 times (and climbing) in two days.

"Omg, I can't even tell you how many times I've watched this and feel so guilty for laughing at it!" one commenter wrote. "Lol. Glad Madison is OK, though."
