It must be nice, if you’re a skateboarder, to be diminutive and ultralight, with a low center of gravity and no fear of knocking out your front teeth — because they’re baby teeth and already missing.
Aside from these attributes — though his new teeth might have grown in by now — Asher Bradshaw possesses extraordinary talent, especially for a 7-year-old who has only been skateboarding since May, 2009.
Referred to as “Thrasher,” and a regular at Venice Skatepark and Belvedere Skatepark near his home in Los Angeles, Asher reportedly is the subject of a feature-length documentary still in the filming stages.
The above video, posted before the prodigy turned 7 this month, has been circulating this week on various media sites and has been viewed by more than half a million people. But chances are lots more people are going to get to watch the kid skate — possibly in the X Games — in the coming years.
