Frends Crew proves old mountain adage wrong in new video

The old adage “no friends on a powder day” is known to all skiers and boarders–when it dumps a few inches or more, you say sayonara to your friends, grab your gear, and get out onto the snow as early as you can to get those prized first tracks. However, The Frends Crew, a group of pro snowboarders known for their impressive superpipe skills, laid-back attitudes, and hilarious pranks, just released a video that seems to prove the old adage wrong and demonstrate that powder days can even be awesome with friends.

Their new edit “Frends on a Powder Day” was filmed on a weather lay day during the Burton European Open in Laax, Switzerland. Watch the edit below with Scotty Lago, Craig McMorris, Greg Bretz, Matt Ladley, Mark McMorris, Torstein Horgmo, and Luke Mitrani slaying the sweet, Swiss white fluff–together.
