Snowboarder’s Superpark 15 Day 3: Soggy Snow Day

Thank god for Goretex. Day three of Snowboarder’s Superpark 15 presented by Gatorade has definitely seen better days, with temperatures not dropping low enough for snow to fall everyone prepared to get a little wet. However, in true Superpark fashion, the riders got in as much shredding as they could before the downpour literally rained on their parade.

The Powder Corp wallride setup was the hot spot of Day 3 with flat light not providing for much of a jump day. The feature is loaded with various handrails around the wallride, allowing for a shit ton of jib options – most the guys aiming to reach the rail on the top of the wall.

Snowboarder’s Tom Monterosso witnessed the session and mentioned a few names that were absolutely sending it: Kyle Lopiccolo, Chelone Miller, Mark Reniger, LNP, and Scotty Vine apparently were on a roll.

A flurry of gaps, frontboards, and grabs took over this cloudy day and luckily shots were taken before the darkest clouds rolled through and ended day three early. The park will need a little love and care before day four kicks off but we’re sure nothing will stop these riders from attacking the park once again.
