As the first company in the US to sponsor women’s Junior Pro events, Billabong is proud to sponsor two events in the country to include the events at Sebastian Inlet, FL and Kewalos, Hawaii.
“The Billabong Pro Junior provides an opportunity for young girls to gain further experience after the NSSA and prior to launching their WQS careers, said Candy Harris brand manager for Billabong Juniors.
“Billabong is proud to sponsor these events to further our commitment in supporting the progression of women’s surfing. The first Junior Pro event was held at Sebastian Inlet, FL in March, and the second event will take place at Kewalos Basin on the South Shore in Oahu, Hawaii, which is part of the Association of Surfing Professionals (ASP) 2004 Junior World Tour in Hawaii in memory of Ronnie Burns.
