SNP, proud National Sponsor of the ESA and the ESA All-Star Team, has announced that Dean Randazzo joins the team as "Tour Representative". In that position, Dean will represent and promote SNP while competing on the professional circuit. He joins Darrick Doerner, R&D Advisor – Water Sports and Jordy Klein, R&D Advisor – Aquatic Photography on the SNP Team.
Dean needs little introduction. New Jersey's most accomplished surfer, Dean turned pro in 1990 and qualified for the WCT in 1996 after only six years as a pro and competing on the WQS. Dean spent the next 5 years competing on the WCT before being diagnosed with cancer in 2001. He has successfully fought the disease on multiple occasions and has been an avid spokesperson for cancer awareness and research through the Dean Randazzo Cancer Foundation.
Dean grew up on the Eastern Surfing Association (ESA) circuit and credits ESA with giving him the opportunity to develop his surfing skills. Dean comes to SNP after experiencing the performance benefits of the product on his personal equipment. He continues his comeback in 2010 on the WQS after winning the Masters of Pro Surfing at Sebastian Inlet using SNP on his boards.
The "SNP Board Enhancer" is a clear, nanotechnology coating that creates a glass and ceramic molecular-level pore sealant that reduces drag, and increases speed, maneuverability, and board performance. The built-in UV protection adds durability and reduces the yellowing of epoxy and polyester boards. The company's web site has detailed information about the product, team riders, and the growing international endorsements.
