Etnies Congratulates Malloy Bros On 180 South

LAKE FOREST, Calif. (May 21, 2010)
– Etnies is proud to support long-time team rider Chris Malloy on the completion of his film project, 180° South. Chris directed 180° South after experiencing Patagonia, Argentina first hand.  With his ongoing search for un-surfed waters, Keith Malloy joined the trip as part of the crew to explore this wild region.

180° South captures Yvon Chouinard's legendary trip into the unknown through Jeff Johnson's modern day expedition.  In 1968, Yvon and best friend Doug Tompkins' legendary trip explored untouched mountain ranges and the un-surfed coastline into deep Patagonia.  In 2007, Jeff started in Ventura, Calif. and followed Chouinard's classic route in hope of finding unclimbed mountains and un-ridden waves, just as his heroes did.
