Newport Beach, CA — May 2, 2005 — Fox is proud to announce it has added veteran surfer Josh Mulcoy to the family as its newest pro rider.
“Josh is extremely talented and we’re stoked to have him on the program, says Chris Drummy, Fox Surf Marketing Manager. “Fox is making a huge push in surfing right now, and bringing a veteran free surfer like Josh into the mix is an excellent way for us to add more depth and experience to our rapidly expanding team roster.
Born, bred and currently residing in Santa Cruz, CA, at thirty-four years of age Josh is still making his presence felt both in and out of the water. Inspired by his father and his undying love for the ocean, Josh is a standout in the National Surf League’s (NSL) progressive team-based contest series, THE GAME. A key member of Team Santa Cruz, Josh has earned MVP status over the past two NSL seasons as a result of his exceptional wave riding abilities. Determined to always live life to its fullest and not get bogged down by everyday bullshit, Josh plans to travel as much as possible and spread the Fox message wherever he goes.
“I’m super stoked to be surfing for Fox because it’s a solid, well-respected company, says Josh. “Riding for such a great company really makes me want to excel in my sport and represent the brand to my fullest potential.
Keep an eye out for Josh at the next round of THE GAME (OC Octopus Series) slated for May 11th – 15th in Orange County. And look for the rest of the Fox pro team in a line-up near you including Kalani Robb, Toby Martin, Samba Mann, Che Stang, Dane Johnson, Brandon Ragenovich, Andrew Gessler, Sean Hayes, Adam Virs and Tyler Fox.
