Steele hasn’t released a surf movie since 2013’s “Missing”, but we’re excited to report he’s set to drop his latest on us this May with “Proximity”. Steele recently shared an exclusive trailer with the folks at SURFER, as well as sitting down to chat about the movie and what it’s all about.

In the interview, we learn that “Proximity” takes four professional surfing duos and brings them to remote locations for a seasonal look. Kelly Slater and John Florence are spring time, Stephanie Gilmore and Dave Rastovich surf during summer, Shane Dorian and Albee Layer shred during fall and Rob Machado and Craig Anderson take on winter.
