Rob Machado And Friends To Host Benefit Concert

SAN DIEGO, CA — On September 26, 2004, 540 Productions in association with Got It Productions will present a Surf Concert with a Message at the Belly Up Tavern in Solana Beach, CA. All net proceeds will benefit the Rob Machado Foundation, the Life Rolls On (LRO) Foundation and the Surfrider Foundation1s San Diego Chapter. The benefit concert will feature local artists: Hunter Harvey and White Buffalo. In addition, the Surfaris, famous for songs that epitomized surfing – Point Panic, Mizerlou and Wipe Out – will perform. The Rob Machado Foundation was created to develop funding for music education programs in the local San Diego community in partnership with VH11s Save The Music Foundation.

A special silent auction for surf boards and equipment will be held during the show at the Belly Up, along with a raffle of clothing, gift certificates, prizes, and other contributions from the local merchants of Encinitas, Cardiff and Solana Beach.
