Skullcandy is pleased to announce the addition of San Clemente surfer Kolohe Andino to its elite surf team. 15-year-old Kolohe joins the Gudauskas brothers, Clay Marzo, Dylan Graves, Kai Otton, Sam Hammer, and Balaram Stack on the team. Already the owner of multiple National and Junior Titles, Kolohe is the next wave of young surfers pushing the limits of what is possible on a surfboard. Its in Kolohe's blood to surf well and compete. His father Dino is a former world tour competitor and still an amazing surfer in his own right.
Kolohe had a part in Billabong's Still Filthy movie with some of the Best Surfers in the world including Andy Irons and Joel Parkinson. Skullcandy's VP of global marketing Mike Carter said, "We're honored to have Kolohe join the Skullcandy family. The 1st time I saw him he nearly took my head off airing over me at lowers." He's the leader of the youth movement, has a huge future ahead of him, and his san clemente roots & classic outlook make him a perfect fit for Skullcandy.
Skullcandy Surf Marketing Manager Brandon Lillard said " Kolohe is the perfect addition to the team. He is motivated, professional, freakishly talented, super cool and he's only 15. Watch out world."
