SUPERbrand Supports Scholastic Surf Series



Cardiff, CA, November 4, 2010 – SUPERbrand is pleased to support the Scholastic Surf Series (SSS) for the 2010-11 season. With competition amongst middle and high school surf teams already underway, SUPERbrand is offering clinics from the team and crew plus the opportunity to demo the Brand's high performance shortboards at contests throughout the season. Additionally, each and every SSS member receives a golden ticket for a large discount on new boards through their closest SUPERbrand retailer.

"We wanted to do something cool for the kids who we consider our most important consumers, and there's no better way than hang out with them on the beach and give them a discount on our products," said Mark Teperson, CEO of SUPERbrand. A part of the established Western Surfing Association (WSA), the SSS is a professionally managed operating platform for teams from San Diego to Santa Barbara. Teams competing in this new series can expect the same high quality events that the WSA has become known for, including professional judging, quality events and a family oriented program. Each section will consist of five events culminating with a State Championship contest for both middle school and high school teams.
