It’s tough for a young, up-and-coming surfer to stand out in the crowded media landscape, but Mitch Crews is making it happen. He isn’t super well known yet in the U.S., but that is starting to change quickly. The 23-year-old former Australian junior champion won the Quiksilver Open Japan 4 star ASP event over the weekend, dropped a new surf edit, and stars in the latest episode of Surf House on Network A. The media blitz from the Gold Coast native is showing the public that he’s a great competitive and free surfer, and he’s also a naturally funny and engaging personality. Get ready to see more from Mitch in the coming months.
