The Field Is Locked For The First Ever Ultimate Boarder Competition

Roster Includes Athletes from Australia, Canada, Norway, South Africa and the United States

SANTA BARBARA, Calif., March 11, 2008 – Former Olympians, a big-wave surfing champion, a pair of brothers, world champion skateboarders and snowboarders, a three-time cancer survivor, a teen surfing phenom, team managers and up-and-coming amateurs: that is a sampling of the personalities and athletes that comprise the field for the first-ever Ultimate Boarder¿ competition. The only event of its kind in the United States, Ultimate Boarder is a one-week competition to find the first athlete who can conquer the art of surfing, skateboarding and snowboarding. Held from April 13-19, 2008, Ultimate Boarder gives unknown riders a chance to shine alongside the pros. The champion will not only win the first-ever title and a lifetime of bragging rights, but a hefty first place prize of $30,000.
