Before the official announcement of Oakley’s brand new AIRWAVE goggle, Global Category Manager for Goggles Andy McSorley stopped by TransWorld Media headquarters to stoke us out with a sneak preview of the brand’s newest tech-savvy gadget, which is set to hit retail Wednesday, October 31st and will be the first goggle to be carried by select Apple stores worldwide.
In a somewhat hush-hush meeting we were shown the impressive interface that is sure to change the way snowboarders interact with their sport. Members of the Transworld SNOW and TransWorld Business teams got a chance to check out the heads up display, which was created in partnership with Recon Instruments. McSorely explained how the goggle’s frame received a complete re-design and is unlike any other Oakley has released-- and it definitely seems like it’s paying off.
