Day three at Outdoor Retailer was still packed with tons of action first thing Saturday morning. Burton’s Donna Carpenter gave a 7 a.m. keynote address across the street from the convention center to get the day started off right, speaking about her thoughts and ideas on women in workplace, the need for diversity, and how she has developed the Women's Leadership Initiative at Burton. Stay tuned for more photos from the show floor, including a look at Jones Snowboards, Skullcandy, Jansport and more.

Outdoor Retailer welcomed in day two at the Salt Palace Convention Center today and we had a chance to cruise the floor once more to check in with several more brands, including Hurley, Patagonia, Sanuk, Zeal Optics, and new iPhone case brand Lifeproof. Check out the photos and keep checking back to see more from the rest of the show this weekend.
Smack in the center of Salt Lake City, Outdoor Retailer is drawing thousands through its doors as the show gets started today at the Salt Palace Convention Center. Navigating the show this morning, aisles were jammed with crowds checking out all the latest product. The North Face booth, which spans almost an entire two rows by itself, was packed with buyers looking at product, the Clif Bar snack counter was a popular destination to sample some of the latest flavors for a quick breakfast and re-up on energy, and some of the biggest names in the action sports market are making debut appearances at Winter OR this year, including Burton and VonZipper.
The afternoon of day one was full with appointments, as TransWorld Business stopped in at the Burton booth to check out the brand’s new Family Tree line of Backcountry boards, additions to the AK outerwear line, and Winter Necessities collection. We also had a chance to check in with Sanuk Founder Jeff Kelly, who said the show was extremely busy with a good split of meetings between outdoor and action sports retailers.
