It was another busy day at KnowShow, with buyers making their way to a second day’s worth of appointments with the wide range of brands exhibiting. TransWorld Business took a midday break from the show to do a mini-shop tour, checking in with retailers including The Boardroom, Clark & Frances, Sitka’s flagship shop, Pacific Boarder, and Sharks & Hammers. Stay tuned for a more in-depth report to come soon.

KnowShow kicked off Tuesday at the Vancouver Convention Centre, with the action sports industry coming together in Canada to take a look at next season’s collections. TransWorld Business checked in with brands like Loser Machine,  Jansport, Volcom, Hurley, Hex, Ashbury, Brixton, Obey, HUF, and the Hundreds, and retailers like Dawson Creek, British Columbia’s Rocksteady.

The show had a few new features this time around, including a series of retail seminars on trade show buying, and a beach-themed lounge that doubled as the stage for a swimwear fashion show towards the end of the day in conjunction with happy hour.

Stay tuned here for another look at the show tomorrow as we bring you more from the Vancouver Convention Centre, day two.
