UPDATED X Games 17: DC’s Ken Block Gives Rally Car Video Tour/Athlete Interviews & Photo Gallery

TransWorld Business stopped by the DC Athlete Signing at the DC Store on Melrose last Thursday and got to speak with Ken Block and get a front seat tour of his new rally car. Take a look:

TransWorld Business headed up to L.A. for the kick off of X Games 17. The ESPN crew hosted a press conference, with help from television personality Sal Masekela, to get first-hand perspectives about the contest from a handful of the most prominent athletes who are competing over the next few days including Travis Pastrana, Ryan Sheckler, Shaun White, Ashley Fiolek, Pierre-Luc Gagnon.

After making the rounds at X Games headquarters, we cruised over to DC’s Melrose store for an official signing with the brand’s team riders and Founder Ken Block. Stay tuned for a video interview with Block on DC’s involvement in X Games and a tour of his rally car, coming soon.

Shaun White - Shaun is a worldwide superstar who has parlayed his snowboarding and skateboarding talents into movie spots, frequent TV appearances, best-selling video games and roles with major companies. Known for record-breaking, White has the most gold (11) and overall medals (16) in Winter X history. He also has four X Games medals under his belt - one gold, two silver, and one bronze in Skateboard Vert. White has a number of ESPYs to his name with the Best Male U.S. Olympic Athlete and four-time Best Male Action Sport Athlete Awards.

Travis Pastrana -The most decorated Moto X athlete in X Games history, Pastrana has 11 Moto X medals and four Rally Car Racing medals. Pastrana won an ESPY award for Best Male Action Sport Athlete in 2007 and was nominated again this year.

Jamie Bestwick - Nearly untouchable in the halfpipe, Bestwick has dominated Vert competition for much of the last decade, racking up seven X Games gold medals, becoming the only rider to four-peat in X Games BMX Vert history.

Ashley Fiolek - Defending Moto X Racing Women's champion, Fiolek is looking to three-peat this year at X Games 17. A two time AMA/WMX champion, Fiolek was also nominated for Best Female Action Sport Athlete at the 2011 ESPYs.

Tanner Foust - Foust has medaled in four of the five X Games he's competed in, winning both Rally Car Racing and SuperRally last year. Stunt driver and host ofTop Gear, Foust has focused on Rallycross, recently becoming the first American to win a European Rallycross Championship round.

Pierre-Luc Gagnon- Going for a four-peat at X Games 17, Gagnon is a fixture on the X Games podium with a total of 16 medals, including seven golds. Recently, Gagnon added KIA X Games Asia gold to his collection when he won the Skateboard MiniMega competition.

Ryan Sheckler- Three-time X Games gold medalist and youngest gold medalist in X Games history, Sheckler looks to defend his X Games 16 Skateboard Street gold this year.
