The legendary 30th Annual Baker Banked Slalom took place this past weekend

This past weekend, Mt. Baker hosted the legendary Baker Banked Slalom, now in its 30th year running. The weekend is one tradition that continues to captivate the entire snowboarding community, with participants coming in from around the world to compete on the challenging race course. The race is far form easy, with riders participating in over two minutes of constant turning, battling questionable weather and the clock.

This year, in honor of the thirtieth anniversary of the event, an extra day of qualifiers was added to the competition, giving industry pros, former campions, and everyone in between the chance to bolster Sunday’s ranks of competitors.
