Loveland Ski Resort officially opened Tuesday, October 22 for the ’12/13 season. Gone are the negative vibes from last season, a new page has turned, and as always Loveland opened with a quality product. Opening day at Loveland was sunny, the snow was great, and the vibe was positive. People were smiling in the parking lots, at the bar, in the rental zone, on the lifts, in the park, and even on the drive home after a perfect opening at the second resort in Colorado to open for the ’12/13 season.
"We had a great turnout for the first day of our 75th anniversary season,” said Loveland Marketing & Communications Directors John Sellers. “Good crowds, great snow, and lots of smiles all around. Our snowmaking team did an incredible job getting the opening day run ready and they have started making snow on some new trails so we should have additional terrain open very soon."
Opening day was a great chance to see some friends, take some photos, and get some insight on how others felt about opening day. " The run was so much fun,” exclaimed Never Summer Sales Manager Mike “Gags” Gagliardi. “Loveland had the best park features they've ever had for opening day and no long lift lines".
Here’s to a great season!
