What are the biggest forces shaping the changes and developments you've made to your boards?
We are the only force. Snowboarders make Nightmare snowboards. The snowboard industry needs an enema, and we’re the ones laughing very seriously about it.

To what degree are you emphasizing camber shape and core profiles in your lineup?
To every single degree. We do EVERYTHING “in house” at our factory, and can make decisions and experiments at the flick of a switch. No red tape, no higher ups, just the ability to provide a direct relationship between snowboard and snowboarder. We did not invent any sort of camber, and we hold no ridiculous patents to prove otherwise. Just the appropriate molds with the appropriate shapes making your appropriate snowboard.

Are you cooking up any new materials or construction techniques?
Considering we are one of the few companies in the world that does not construct their snowboards offshore (side by side with other brands) or at an O.E.M. facility, we have the ability to constantly push our machinery and building process techniques….one rad secret in our sauce: thicker sidewall (horizontal), everyone else seems to skimp on that shit.

Are you taking any steps to minimize your environmental impact?  If so, what are some of these steps?
Aside from recycling at the factory, we use Earth Friendly epoxies, however we still need to murder trees to provide wood cores. I think we're going to start planting more trees.

From your perspective, what does it take to create a meaningful relationship with customers?  In 2013/2014, what do you think customers will expect from the brands they back?
We build snowboards for customers who will never buy a snowboard from anyone else again. I think its because we actually care about our customers getting a snowboard they can directly relate with and genuinely call their own.
