Ookii Co LLC recently signed snowboard and skateboard double-threat Japanese phenom brothers, Eijyu and Ayumu Hirano.
The brothers, who are 15 and 12 respectively, gained attention internationally with Eijyu taking 7th place at this past year's Burton US Open of Snowboarding. Also, Ayumu won the Junior US Open and took 13th place in the US Open.

Eijyu and Ayumu Hirano join two-time Japanese Olympian and two-time US Open of Snowboarding champion, Kazu Kokubo, as well as Dew Tour winner and X Games medalists, FMX rider, Taka Higashino on the roster.
"Kazu, Nori (Watanabe) and I had been talking about adding more athletes to the Ookii team and the first names they both threw out were Ayumu and Eijyu," said Carl Harris, Ookii's president, "Not only were they young and ridiculously talented on snowboards, but equally talented at skating. I held reservations until I actually saw them skate and was blown away. It reminded me a lot of a young Danny Way and Colin McKay. After having spent some time with the boys and their family in Japan as well as consulting their existing sponsor Burton, we all agreed it was a perfect fit for everyone. Kazu has really taken on a mentor role with the boys and with so much success so early in his career, I don't think you could find a better teacher, not just in riding a snowboard, but how to be a professional athlete and great person"
