Resorts of the Canadian Rockies Choose Helly Hansen to Protect and Enable its
Mountain Professionals for Another Four Years

DELTA, B.C. (April 10, 2010) — Resorts of the Canadian Rockies (RCR) announced
this week it has chosen to extend its custom uniform program with Helly Hansen for
another four years. This decision was based on product performance over the past four
seasons as well as Helly Hansen's high level of service.

All the mountain professionals at Fernie Alpine Resort, Kimberly Alpine Resort, Nakiska
Ski Resort, Mont Ste. Anne and Stoneham, including ski patrol, mountain operations,
Winter Sports School, Resort Hosts and Guest Services will wear Helly Hansen's
outerwear through the end of the 2013-14 season under the new agreement.

"Helly Hansen focuses on uniforms as a core business unit, not a side project," said Neil
Jackson, vice president of products and maintenance for RCR. "It is critical that we have
the best uniform for our team so they can deliver on our standard of providing the best ski
vacation experience. Helly Hansen is the only company that could meet our wide range
of needs and cover everybody from the patrollers to the operations team. Working with
one vendor is rare and offers us a big advantage. We've been extremely impressed with
the performance over the past four years and Helly Hansen's service is incredible."

For 134 years, Helly Hansen has been providing professionals on mountains and oceans
with apparel that protects them from the harshest environments. Helly Hansen embarked
on a dedicated uniform development initiative in 2006 that tied together its storied work
wear, sportswear and performance apparel collections into an easy-to-manage program
that provides a single brand solution for every segment of mountain resort operations,
from mechanics to ski patrollers.

During the past three years, Aspen Ski Co., Copper Mountain Ski Resort, Killington
Resort, Hunter Mountain and Durango Mountain Resort joined Helly Hansen's custom
uniform program. In 2009, 13 more resorts, including Squaw Valley USA, Kirkwood
Mountain Resort, Mt. Baker Ski Area, Taos Ski Valley Resort and Smugglers' Notch
Resort plus Seattle-based, high-alpine guiding service Mountain Madness established
their own custom uniform programs with the Norwegian-based manufacturer. This
season, Helly Hansen will be confidently worn by more than 20,000 mountain
professionals in North America who have chosen to make their living in some of the
world's harshest environments, spending upwards of 150 days a year in the elements.
