The fourth iteration of SnowBomb’s ski and snowboard film festival is right around the corner. This ski/wine/board/brew festival will return to the Bay area, bringing together some of the biggest names in the snow industry while showcasing some of the most coveted shred flicks of the season. TGR’s One For The Road and MSP’s Attack Of La Nina will premiere, while festival guests can take advantage of the endless wine, beer, and free goodies that will stoke everyone for the upcoming season. Fort Mason Pavilion will host the first weekend, November 5th and 6th; while Santa Clara Convention Center will host the second weekend, November 12th and 13th. San Francisco, Calif. – In its fourth year returning to the Bay Area the
renowned SnowBomb Ski and Snowboard Festivals promise another very busy,
very exciting set of weekend events this November for winter sports fans in
“Our Ski-Wine-Board-Brew festival is the premier attraction leading up to
the winter season,” says event founder Jim McAlpine. “Five years ago we set
out to revolutionize the customer experience at tired, old ski expos and
today we’re thrilled to announce the concept keeps getting better.”
New for 2011, SnowBomb has partnered with award winning filmmakers Teton
Gravity Research and Matchstick Productions to host ski movie premier nights
at both the San Francisco and Silicon Valley events. Fans will have the
chance to watch TGR’s “One for the Road” and MSP’s “Attack of La Nina” the
evening before each day of the festival.
Returning for 2011 is the VIP ticket option at only $40, which allows
attendees access to more than 150 wineries and breweries offering tastes of
