Support Industry Veteran Brandon Lillard

Industry veteran Brandon Lillard, who needs no introduction to most, has sustained some serious injuries after a base jumping accident in Utah Friday, September 12th. While he was taken into the hospital in critical condition, suffering head trauma and broken bones, his status has since improved considerably, and he is in good spirits. His friends and family have put together this GoFundMe campaign to help offset the hospital bill, and would appreciate any support the industry can offer. The campaign has already raised more than $26k toward Lillard’s recovery as of Wednesday, September 17.

Brandon has been a part of the surf industry for more than a decade, in roles at major companies including etnies, Nixon, Skullcandy, and recently founded his own company, Stacking Clips.

Here’s more from the GoFundMe page:

Brandon had a BASE jumping accident in Utah on Friday, September the 12th and slammed really hard. He was transported to Utah Valley Regional Hospital in critical condition, but is now stable and doing much better. He had an issue with his chute after it deployed and hit the wall of the cliff a number of times which caused his parachute to collapse and sent him falling down the face of the mountain. He has some major head trauma and some broken bones that will heal. We are just trying to get him more stable so we can deal with a couple of things immediately and get him transported closer to home for his full recovery. Thanks so much for all the support. He got really lucky and is in good spirits! Lets help him out so he can focus fully on his recovery and not worry about his bills.

The TransWorld family wishes you a speedy recovery Brandon!
